Come along and join a friendly group of mosaic enthusiasts creating beautiful masterpieces together!
Create, Learn and Connect
Discover the colourful and creative world of mosaics in a relaxed and welcoming class at Moy-Yan Neighbourhood House.
Whether you are a complete beginner or have tried mosaics before, you will receive friendly, step-by-step guidance while creating your own unique pieces. No artistic experience is needed—just bring your imagination and a willingness to have a go!
About the Classes
During the classes, participants will learn how to plan a mosaic design, choose suitable colours and materials, safely cut and arrange tiles, apply adhesive and finish their work with grout.
We will begin with a simple project to help everyone become familiar with the tools and techniques. As your skills and confidence grow, you may progress to larger or more detailed creations.
Projects could include:
- Decorative coasters and trivets
- House numbers and name plaques
- Garden pavers and stepping stones
- Picture frames and wall hangings
- Plant pots and garden ornaments
- Your own individual mosaic design
These classes are about more than learning a new craft. They provide a friendly place to meet people, enjoy a cuppa, share ideas and spend some relaxing time being creative.
